Ask any member of Fit Collective why they love their gym and you’ll always hear the same answer — the community. Sure, they might talk about the variety of programming, the inclusiveness for all fitness levels, and they’ll definitely mention the virtual classes, but it’s the people that make this studio a true collective. Recently named 5280’s Top Fitness Studio/Gym, it’s clear that Fit Co feels like home to workout-lovers and fitness-phobes alike. 

For Fit Co’s logo, we focused on the central tenant of belonging. By taking the “i” from “Fit” we were able to create a colorful design mark, centered around a single point. This represents how a community is fortified by its individuals. And at Fit Co, everyone is centered by a common goal and methodology: a holistic approach to exercise that brings together cardio, strength, mobility, and flexibility.

When the pandemic hit and exercise came to a screeching halt, Natalie Baumchen saw how badly people were craving action. She took her years of experience from running fitness programs and founded Fit Collective in 2020 as a virtual studio. Then, in 2021, she moved Fit Co into a physical space in Denver’s up-and-coming York Street Yards. Today, Nat runs Fit Co and helps teach a variety of in-studio, virtual, and on-demand fitness classes ranging from yoga to kickboxing to weightlifting.
